 Founders

Forming and growing Sursum Corda Community has been a collaborative effort by many individuals and couples since our founding in 2016. The Kellers and the Dills got the ball rolling, but we are deeply indebted to Monsignor Voorhies for his vision and guidance in encouraging us to start this community. Additionally, Ed and Cindy Loescher, whose love for Jesus and community is extraordinary, continue to share their wisdom, teaching, and joyful service.

We invite you to bring your gifts and talents

to help us grow and build the

Sursum Corda Community.

Tim has a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University (ASU) and has worked in the aerospace industry for more than 30 years. His true passions, however, are his Catholic faith, his family, and building community. He lived for more than five years in a lay brotherhood that focused on prayer, scripture, service, and evangelization. Tim has been a member of City of the Lord (COTL), a Catholic covenant community, for 40 years. Tim is a two-time presenter at the Men Under Construction (MUC) diocesan men's conference in the archdioceses of Santa Fe, and has worked in men's formation for more than a dozen years, including That Man is You, Exodus90, and the MUC steering committee. Tim speaks Spanish and is learning German and French.

Cathy also studied at ASU, and had the great fortune of living in Rome with the Emmanuel Community for a year and attending the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas. She lived and worked for a year with Covenant House, a home for runaway children in New York City. Cathy has been a member of the COTL for 30 years. Her experience living and working with three different Catholic communities, together with her amazing heart for hospitality and evangelization, give her unique gifts that have contributed to the formation of our new community.
